We must have our ski material in excellent conditions in order to enjoy our first season descent of the slopes and that it takes place without any problems.
Ideally, to find our material in the best conditions would be, that on the last day of use of the previous season, we dedicate ourselves to dry both soles and edges of skis, and of course dry the boots and close the hooks before storing them in A dry place This will prevent the edges from rusting and the boots rotting and deforming.
Even taking into account this basic and homemade maintenance, visits to the workshop will continue to be essential. The passage through the workshop should be as often as the skis require.
In the workshop they will be in charge of cleaning, covering irregularities and waxing the soles of our skis, as well as cleaning and sharpening the edges, this will make our skis slide much better and that the control of them is much easier.
For the most demanding, in the workshop we will also prepare skis according to the snow conditions that are there every day (powder snow, spring …)
