While we ski it is really important to keep our body in perfect conditions since not only the physical exhaustion may affect us but also external conditions such as altitude or the weather (cold, sun, snow…)
First and foremost, keeping ourselves HIDRATED is not only not feeling thirsty but that our muscles elastic and not have cramps. That is why it is really important to drink every hour. We can take water or some isotonic drink in order to recover minerals that we lose.
And second, HYDRATES, preferable to chocolate would be a turkey or chicken sandwich or an energy bar. If you are one of those who stop at the restaurant, opt for carbohydrates, such as rice, pasta, vegetables and fruits. And proteins, like poultry, some red meat or fish.
With this we will help our body to continue skiing until they throw us out of tracks!
